The Detroit News obtained a recording of a call former President Donald Trump made to two Michigan county officials in 2020, urging them not to certify the election results from Detroit.

The call was previously known and reported by CNN – and condemned at the time by election experts and Michigan Democrats, who said it was a stunning attempt by a sitting president to pressure local officials to interfere with an election.

    Define "pressuring."

    Why should a seeker of truth believe this for a nanosecond!!!!!?

    On a Nov. 17, 2020, phone call, which also involved Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, Trump told Monica Palmer and William Hartmann, the two GOP Wayne County canvassers, they'd look "terrible" if they signed the documents after they first voted in opposition and then later in the same meeting voted to approve certification of the county’s election results, according to the recordings.

    Trump was obviously using and abusing his clout as president to pressure local pols. The confirmation that this did happen is that none of the Republicans on the other end of that phone call deny it.

    I despise Trump. There's little I'd put past him. But, I'm not going accept a SwampMedia characterization of the import of what Trump said.

    History tells me not too.

    pb suspects that the conversation took place but to trust the adjective that the TrumpHate SwampMedia applies to it is beyond the pale. There's no reason, based in knowledge, to do that.

    I think for myself. You're welcome to try it. It'll be hard at first. But, stick with it.

    I know, right? We've all heard those calls with our own ears.

    These clowns go on and on about how all the evidence is fake and the trials are fake and the whole thing is made up. But there hasn't been a single piece of evidence in the entire 1/6 cases that has been shown to be wrong or in fact fake. The evidence is iron clad. They've got nothing. But they are determined not to let anything ever stop them from defending and supporting that felon with their very lives, like Hate here does.
